How Much Do Peptides Cost? 2026 Research Peptide Price Guide

Peptide price guide banner: How Much Do Peptides Cost? with blue vials and caps on a light blue background

Research peptides cost roughly $50 to $360 per vial at Clean Peptide, depending on the compound and the vial size. On 25 October 2026, list prices ran from $48 for a 50 mg GHK-Cu vial to $360 for a 50 mg SS-31 vial, and most 10 mg vials listed between about $53 and $108. Per milligram, that is from under $1 for GHK-Cu to more than $20 for thymosin alpha-1. The tables below show today’s prices, read live from the store.

This guide covers research-grade reference materials sold for laboratory use. It does not cover prescription peptide medicines or clinic programmes, which are priced, regulated and supplied in a completely different way.

Price per milligram is the number to compare

A vial price on its own says little, because vials hold different amounts. Dividing the price by the milligrams in the vial gives a figure that can be compared across sizes and suppliers. In our catalogue, larger vials of the same peptide cost less per milligram. On 25 October 2026, list prices per milligram were:

Peptide Smaller vial Larger vial
BPC-157
10 mg: $6.44 per mg
20 mg: $5.27 per mg
GLP-3 Reta (retatrutide)
10 mg: $9.76 per mg
20 mg: $7.35 per mg
SS-31
10 mg: $9.25 per mg
50 mg: $7.20 per mg
GHK-Cu
50 mg: $0.96 per mg
100 mg: $0.72 per mg

What a price does and does not tell you

Two vials at the same price are only comparable if they are the same material with the same evidence behind them. Before comparing prices between suppliers, check:

  • The same compound and form. A blend is not a single peptide, a spray solution is not a lyophilised vial, and different salt forms weigh differently.
  • Measured content, not just the label. A certificate that reports net peptide content shows how much peptide the lot actually contains, which can differ from the labelled milligrams.
  • What the certificate covers. A full panel (identity, purity, content, endotoxin, sterility, heavy metals) is more work than a purity-only report. Each of our product pages says which tests its certificate includes.
  • The lot. The certificate should be for the lot that ships, with the same lot number as the vial.
  • Delivery. Shipping cost and speed change the real total. Our terms are on the shipping page.

A low price is not proof of poor quality, and a high price is not proof of good quality. The documentation is what tells them apart. See where to buy research peptides: 10 checks and peptide testing.

Why research peptides are not priced like medicines

Approved peptide medicines, such as insulin or the GLP-1 receptor agonists, are manufactured and sold under a drug approval and dispensed on prescription, and their prices reflect that system. Research peptides are laboratory reference materials: they are not approved for human use, carry no dosing information, and are sold only for in-vitro research. Comparing the two on price is comparing different products.

Frequently asked questions

How much do research peptides cost?

At Clean Peptide, list prices on 25 October 2026 ran from $48 for a 50 mg GHK-Cu vial to $360 for a 50 mg SS-31 vial, and most 10 mg vials listed between about $53 and $108. The live tables on this page show today’s price for each size.

Why do larger vials cost less per milligram?

In our catalogue the price per milligram falls as the vial size rises: for example, BPC-157 listed at $6.44 per mg in 10 mg vials and $5.27 per mg in 20 mg vials on 25 October 2026.

How should I compare peptide prices between suppliers?

Compare the same compound and form, by price per milligram, and check the certificate: whether it is for the lot that ships, whether it reports measured content, and which tests it covers. A lower price is only a saving if the evidence matches.

Does the price include a certificate of analysis?

Yes. Every lot we sell has its certificate published on the product page before you buy, at no extra cost.

Is a cheaper research peptide the same quality?

Price does not tell you. The certificate does: lot number, laboratory, identity method, HPLC purity and measured content. Judge the documentation, then the price.

Does this guide cover prescription peptide medicines?

No. It covers research-grade reference materials for laboratory use. Prescription peptide medicines and clinic programmes are priced and regulated separately, and Clean Peptide does not sell them.

Every reference standard you need, documented down to the batch.

Each size ships against the certificate issued for its own fill — purity, identity and batch, on file before you buy.
