About Sprays

Peptide nasal sprays here are research peptides supplied already in solution: 20 mg of peptide in 20 mL, in a spray bottle, so no lyophilised powder is involved. The range is Semax, Selank, Adamax, DSIP and PT-141. The same Semax and Selank are also sold as 10 mg lyophilised vials under Neuropeptides.

Each bottle is filled from one lot and ships against that lot’s HYTE Research Division certificate, which confirms identity by HPLC with diode-array detection and measures the concentration against a specification of not less than 90% of label claim; the Selank Spray certificate also reports HPLC purity and benzyl alcohol content. Published research on the nasal route exists for some of these peptides and not others, and each product page says which. For laboratory research use only, not for human or veterinary use; buyers must be 21 or older.

Common questions

What is a peptide nasal spray?

Here it means a research peptide supplied as a solution in a spray bottle: 20 mg of peptide in 20 mL, a nominal 1 mg per mL. It is the same peptide as the lyophilised version where one exists, already in solution.

Which peptides are sold as nasal sprays?

Semax, Selank, Adamax, DSIP and PT-141, each as 20 mg in 20 mL. Semax and Selank are also available as 10 mg lyophilised vials.

What does a spray certificate show?

Each lot’s HYTE Research Division certificate confirms identity by HPLC-DAD and reports the measured concentration against a specification of not less than 90% of label claim. The Selank Spray certificate also reports HPLC purity and benzyl alcohol. The others do not report a purity figure, and the product pages say so.

Have these peptides been studied by the nasal route?

Some have. Rat studies gave Semax and Selank intranasally, and the early human studies of PT-141 used an intranasal form. Published DSIP studies used infusion or injection, and Adamax has no published research. Each product page sets out what is known.

Who may buy them?

They are sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or veterinary use, to buyers aged 21 and over.
